Manuscript Perek Shirah Prayers and Pizmonim including an Unknown Piyyut about Rashbi and His Son - North Africa, 19th Century - Handwritten volume, fine orderly scribal script, containing mostly Piznmonim by leading Morrocan sages and more, Perek Shirah and some prayers, with an index for the Pizmonim.  Taping, tears, moth damage, stains and other blemishes, greatly affecting the text of some leaves. Several leaves are missing in between. Fair overall condition. The manuscript begins with leaf 7 and ends with leaf 99. As stated, there are some missing leaves and several leaves that are not included in the pagination - a total of approx. 120 written leaves.  The manuscript contains the following by their order of appearance:  * Alphabetized index for the Pizmonim.  * Pizmon Ve'amarten Koh Lechai (the first leaf is missing) by Rabbeinu the Ben Ish Chai.  * Pizmon Mi Yemalel Izuz Gevurot by Rabbi Mordechai Abadi.  * Other short Pizmonim.  * Vayizra Yitzchak - several leaves containing ”a Bakashah to be said daily...” followed by ”an awe-inspiring prayer by Rabbi Yishma'el Cohen Gadol”.  * Perek Shirah.  * Many other Pizmonim.  * Unknown Pizmon - not published - about Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and his son Rabbi Elazar. The initials of the verses form the words Siman Yisrael Bar Reuven and it is signed the writer Yisrael ben Sasson Nero .
