Important Letter and Telegrans by the Gaon Rabbi Zalman Sorotzkin and Additional Gedolei Yisrael to the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kreiswirth - Collection of a letter and three telegrans by leading rabbis of Israel, sent to the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kreiswirth, Av Beit Din fo Antwerpen. Jerusalem, 1957.  Historical letter with the handwritten signature of the Gaon Rabbi Zalman Sorotzkin Av Beit Din of Lutzk, chairman of Mo'etzet Gedolei HaTorah and one of the founders of Independent Education. The letter was sent in the first years of the Independent Education, which today has more than 100,000 students.  In those days, when the institutions of the Independent Education did not yet have a firm financial foundation, Gedolei Hador sent their leading activist, Rabbi Moshe Porush, abroad to raise funds for the Independent Education.  In his letter, the Gaon Av Beit Din fo Lutzk describes the noble causes of Independent Education, which could already be seen as a huge success. On the other hand, it faced finanical difficulties that threatened its very existence unless immediate help is offered. The fundraising succeeded beyond anyone's predictions and the enterprise exists to this day.  Enclosed are three telegrams on teh same subject to the same addressee:  * Telegram from October 15, 1957 by the Gaon Rabbi Yechezkel Abramsky, who writes that Independent Education needs urgent support .  * Telegram from October 5, by the Chief Rabbi Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Halevi Herzog who writes that  the Ohel Torah Yeshiva [where all Gedolei Hador had studied] struggles for survival and asks to organize a fundraiser to rescue it .  * Telegram from June 11, 1957, by the Admor of Ger the Imrei Emet and the leading Rosh Yeshivas, who signed with their family names - Sorotzkin, Abramsky, Weidenfeld, Alter-Ger, Finkel and Sarna. They write that the existence of the Torah in the Holy Land depends on the existence of Independent Education.  [4] leaves. Sizes vary.  Very good overall condition.
