Some moth. Stains. Good condition.  The author: Rabbeinu Eliyahu Hacohen HaItamari of Izmir, author of the famed work Shevet Mussar  which many Gedolei Yisrael used to study daily. The famous story of his miraculous survival is also told about him, showing his deep devotion to tying his sash before studying Torah and praying: ”One night, when he got out of bed to study Torah, he went to tie his belt. A large, long snake happened to be there, and since it was dark, he did not notice and thought it was his belt. He tied the snake around his waist. As he began studying, the snake started moving until it slowly untied the knot, crawled away from him bit by bit, and left him completely unharmed. It is told that about this miracle ge authored the book Eizor Eliyahu, so I have heard since the tale was written in the manuscript of the book Korban Eliyahu” (Tenufah Chaim by Rabbi Chaim Palachi Parashat Shoftim Siman 15).
