Ladino - Leket Hazohar - by Rabbi Avraham Finzi - First Edition - Belgrad, 1859 - Sefer Leket Hazohar - compiled mamarim from Sefer Hazohar translated into Ladino - by Rabbi Avraham Finzi - Belgrad, 1859 - first edition.  Despite it being a European town, Belgrad, Serbia, had a large community of Sephardic Jew, mostly from Spain, who settled there after the Expulsion. Thus, many Ladino books were published there, including thsi one, Leket Hazohar, which was fondly accepted by learners of the Torah of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai.  At the beginning of the book, ther eis a list of pre-subscribers from long-lost cities of Serbia.  Owner's signature: ”יצחק עלי”. [5], 192 leaves.  Original, worn half-leather binding. Stains. Good condition.
