The Polemic of the Aliyah to Har Habayit with Many Glosses Handwritten by the Author: Sha'ar Daltei Levanon - Jerusalem, 1928 - Sha'ar Daltei Levanon - dealing with the controversy regarding the ban to enter Har Habit these days. By the Rav of Baranov, the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Noah Braver. Jerusalem, 1928.  The book led to a severe dispute since it discusses the possibilty of allowing people to enter Har Habit these days.  Throughout the book there are approx. 10 glosses handwritten by its author, some of them lengthy [a total of approx. 250 words].  18 leaves. 14 cm.  Good condition. Red title cover.  *** The Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Noah Braver [1860-1939] Rav, Chassid and religious philosopher was was known as the Rav of Baranov after the city of Baranów, Poland, where he served as Rav.  In 1925, he immigrated to Eretz Yisrael, settling in Jerusalem.  In 1935, he published a large illustration of the Third Temple, based on the Malbim.  Author of Shelom Yerushalayim - on the Shmitah and Yalkut Pri Etrog - on the Etrogim of Eretz Yisrael.
