First Edition in the author's lifetime, Frankfurt an der Oder 1767. 142 leaves. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod 199.  Old binding with a worn and stained leather spine. Taping. Moth perforations and damage. Stains and other blemishes. Some damage to text of several leaves. Fair overall condition.  The importance of the book : Learners liked the book Tosefet Shabbat. In it, the writer disagrees with his predecessors, even the Magen Avraham, who was considered a foremost Posek. Possibly, because of this it was accepted enthusiastically by the learners, with even the Noda BiYehuda, the Pri Megadim and the Chida quoting it in their books. Many approbations by leading Geonim and rabbis (not all of them included in this variant): Rabbi David Tevil of Brod, Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak of Zamosht author of the Mirkevet Hamishneh, Rabbi Naftali Yitzchak of Dubno, the rabbis of Brod, Berlin, Gluga, Rabbi Shaul of Amsterdam and more. In addiiton, a warm, rhymed approbation by the Gaon Rabbi Yechezkel Segal Landau, the Nodah BiYehuda who notes: ”וכל דבריו בדעת ובחכמה, ויש לו שיקול הדעת נכונה, שואל ומשיב כעניינא, ומלבד השכל הישר אשר לו למנה, גם בקיאות בדברי הש”ס והפוסקים קנה...” . Lengthy introduction by the author.
