Chamishim Drushim Yekarim - First Edition of Sefer Givat Shaul by Rabbi Shaul Mortira - Amsterdam, 1645 - Chamishim Drushim Yekarim - Chidushim on the Torah  -  by Rabbi Shaul Mortira - titled by him Givat Shaul - Emanuel Benvanisti Press - Amsterdam, 1645 - First editio. Owner's signature: ”מרדכי שמשון וירבו”. 116 leaves.  Moth perforation and damage. Fair condition.  The author Rabbi Shaul Mortira (1596-1660) Rav of the Sephardi-Portuguese community of Amsterdam and later, Av beit Din of the entire city.  His famed work Givat Shaul was initially printed under the title Chamishim Drushim Yekarim as in this copy. From the second edition and onward, it was titled Givat Shaul.
