On leaf 3, a signature: ”נאם גרשון בן אברהם זצ”ל” And a handwritten gloss - not studied.  66 leaves.  Ancient half-leather binding, partly detached. Detached title page. Minor moth damage to the inner margins. Stains. Fair-good condition.  *** The Gaon Rabbi Yaakov (1846-1917) Rav of Derbend for approx. forty years. Corresponded with Gedolei Yisrael of Europe. After forty years as Rav of Derbend, he immigrated to Erez Yisrael and established Be'er Yaakov, which was named after him.
