Aruchat Bat Ami - the Preparations for the Congress of Rabbis for the Establishment of the Sanhedrin in Zion - by Ephraim Deinard - St. Louis, 1920 - Single Edition - Aruchat Bat Ami - a call to re-establisht he Sanhedrin - by th efamed bibliographer Ephraim Deinard - St. Louis, 1920 - single edition.  The book embodies one of the continuous attempts throughout the generations to re-establish the Sanhedrin in Eretz Yisrael, naive attempts that never succeeded, and certainly not by  a man like Ephraim Deinard, who was not accepted by the majority of rabbis in the Jewish world. Ephraim Deinard was a famous bibliographer and a tireless writer who published dozens of books and works throughout his lifetime; a fierce opponent of the Chassidic movement, and Lehavdil, one who dedicated a large portion of his life to a war against Christianity.  On the back cover, the author wrote that if there were many objections to the book, he would be willing to publish a special book containing all the letters: ”והיה, אם רבים יהיו מבקרי הספר הזה, הנני נכון להדפיס מחברת מיוחדת אשר תכיל את כל המכתבים...”. 100 pp. with the original cover.  Taping to the spine of the cover. Wide margims. Thick quality paper. Good condition.
