Never Auctioned: Literary Anthology in Honor of the Gaon Shimon Lavi Author of Bar Yochai - Tripoli, 1949 - Literary Anthology in Honor of the Gaon Shimon Lavi published in Tripoli in 1949. The anthology was edited and published by the scholar and community activist Gabriele V-Vitorio Roccah. Hebrew and Italian.  The book was published to commemorate 400 years since Rabbi Shimon Lavi came to Tripoli. The book pays tribute to the Mekubal Rabbi Shimon Lavi, author of Ketem Paz who wrote the famed Piyyut Bar Yochau Nimshachta Ashrecha, and who is considered the spiritual and halachic forefather of Libyan Jewry.  The book has 60 pp. The Hebrew section has 11 pp. dedicated to Divrei Torah, history and praise. The Italian section has 49 pp.  To the best of our knowledge, the book was never auctioned!! 11, [2], 47 pp. including a portrait. 16 cm.  Very good condition.
