Published by the Mezeritsh Center in Israel. Israel, 1978.  Memorial books are the major basis for genealogical and historical research of European Jewish communities. This Mezeritsh Book is a monumental work that contains comprehensive historical reviews from the first days of the community (the 14th century) through the religious life, the Chassidut (Mezeritsh was a renowned Chassidic center) to its tragic destruction. The book includes rare pictures, maps, lists of victims and first-hand testimonies of survivors. The book is written in Hebrew and Yiddish.  Original hard-cover. Beige fabric with an ambossment of the book's title on the front and spine. Stains and minor blemishes. Good overall condition.
