Framed Illustration of the Rebbe Rabbi Bunim of Peshischa - Lodz, 1930? - ”ומהראוי והנכון שכל אחד מישראל יכניס תמונה זאת לביתו...” [it is fitting and proper that every Jew bring this picture into his home...].  An illustration printed on thick paper featuring the famed portrait of the Admor Rabbi Smichah Bunim of Peshischa in an oval frame, with a Yarmulka (Kipah) on his head. On the lower part of th eillsutration, the inscription:  ”תואר מרן הקדוש וכו' הרבי ר”ר בונם מפשיסחא זצלל”ה (נ' י”ב אלול תקפ”ז), הוצאת ש. שאפירא, לאדז (פוילען) רחוב פולנאצנא 6...”. [1] leaf. Placed in a frame of approx. 18X13 cm. Printed paper with patina and minor foxing. On the right edge, traces of taping, not affecting the illustration or inscription.  Rare picture, not in the Ephemera Collection of the National Library and has never been auctioned! ”כי הציור הזה... בקבלה אמתית שהוא הרבי רבי בונם זצ”ל... ומהראוי והנכון שכל אחד מישראל יכניס תמונה זאת לביתו לקיים מה שנאמר והיו עיניך רואות את מוריך כמבואר בתשובת מהר”ם מינץ ס' ס'ו” (The Gaon Rabbi Zvi Yechezkel Michilsohn Av Beit Din of Plonsk and head of Vaad Harabbanim of Warsaw, see: Moreshet Auctions, Auction 72 Lot 266). The artist! Following is an additional source indicating the picture's authenticity and shedding light on the artist: ”The Bergson Family had an artist whose role was to draw the members of the family, varied events and the important people who visited them... The famed picture of Rabbi Bunim of Peshischa was also made by him ...the original pictures were maintained until the Holocaust in the Bergson Collection of the Warsaw community and were authenticated by the eldest of the Chassidim (Karmeinu - published by the Alexander Institutions, Elul 1993).
