Letter with Important Content about Beinoni Detanya with a Corrections and Markings Handwritten by the Rebbe - Cheshvan, 1959 - Typewritten letter on the Rebbe's official stationery from Cheshvan 21, 1959. The letter was sent to an important American Rav, with corrections of letters and markings handwritten and signed by the Rebbe.   The Rebbe responds to a letter that was sent to him about ”Beinoni” according to the Tanya. The Rebbe elaborates, emphasizing (by undelining a word himself): ” שכל אדם יכול להיות בינוני בכל עת ובכל שעה. ז.א. [=זאת אומרת] אפילו רשע גמור ביכולתו כל האמור, שהרי אין לך דבר העומד בפני התשובה, ויכול לשוב באופן כזה שלא יהי' שייך לכל הענינים המנוים בפרק יב'” [that every person can be a Beinoni at any time and at any moment. That is to say, even an absolute Rasha is capable of everything stated above; for nothing stands in the way of Teshuvah and he can repent in such a manner that he will no longer have any connection to all the matters listed in Chapter 12].  The Rebbe ends with blessings: ויהי רצון שכיון שהוא גם חדש הכללי לכל השנה, הנה תומשך הברכה בכל הענינים הפרטים וגם הכללים גם יחד, ובהם גם הפצת המעינות עד שיגיעו גם חוצה, ובפרט אשר השנה, היא שנת המאתים להסתלקות ההילולא של הבעל שם טוב אשר לכשיפוצו מעינותיו חוצה, קאתי מר, דא מלכא משיחא . בברכה לבשו”ט בכל האמור...”.
