Fascinating Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Secretary of the Rebbe the Rayatz Rabbi Yechezkel Feigin - Menachem Av 1936 - Postcard of the Rebbe the Rayatz with his address in Warsaw, sent on Menachem Av 8, 1936, from Otwock, Poland. The postcard was handwritten entirely by the secretary Rabbi Chatshe Feigin and sent to Jerusalem, to Rabbi Chanoch Hendel Havlin, with implied criticism to insiders... The letter was of course sent by the instruction of the Admor the Rayatz: ”קבלתי מכתב מכ”ק אדמו”ר שליט”א [הרבי הריי”צ] וכותב כי לא קיבל עדין מכתבודו מענה על מכתבו... לבד הקודמים נתקבלו עוד מכתבים השואלים את תורת אמת שייכה כעת לכ”ק אדמו”ר שליט”א”. We shall not elaborate on this painful matter in the history of the Toras Emes Yeshiva of Jerusalem and we need say no more. Later, the secretary refers to Rabbi Elchanan of Arozov, writing: קבלתי מכתב מר' אלחנן שי' [הי”ד] מאראזאוו וכותב לי בזה”ל... שהלכה שלמד מאד”מ (מובן כי הוא ר”ת אלחנן דב מאראזאב) מאה פעמים ואחד והוא בידו כמונח בקופסא ימסור ההלכה ההיא לאבי שליט”א, וע”כ אם ברצונך למלאות דבריו שלח נא מעותיו שתחת ידיך לכ”ק אדמו”ר שליט”א על אדרעס הידוע לך לפאריז [he is appraently refering to the address of the Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel, who was already in Paris. It is well-known that the Rebbe used to receive letters and sums of money on behalf of his in-law, the Rayatz].  [1] postcard. Stains and small restoration to one of the corners.
