Rare! Kuntres that was Sent by the Rebbe in His First Years of Nessi'ut! Sent to the Famed Chassid the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Horowitz of Safed - Letter by the Rebbe's office, on the Rebbe's official stationery, from Tamuz 4, 1952, with Kuntres Chag Hage'ulah Tamuz 12-13, 1952 - Kuntres 103. Written in the letter: ”עפ”י הוראת כ”ק אדמו”ר שליט”א שולחים אנו בזה את הקונטרס לחג הגאולה... ובטח יזכה בו גם את הרבים...” [by the Admor Shlita's instruction, we hereby send the Kuntres for Chag Hage'ulah... and surely he will merit the public...].  The letter with the Kuntres was sent to the famed Chassid the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Horowitz of Safed, the Rav of the Chabad community and Chief Rabbi of Western Canada.  [1] letter + Kuntres. Good overall condition.   *** The Gaon Chassid Rabbi Yeshaya Halevi Horowitz (1883-1978) the son of Rabbi Asher Yechezkel Halevi Horowitz and the son-in-law of Rabbi Yitzchak Loberbaum the grandson of the Rav of Safed, Rabbi Shmuel Heller. Since 1908, served as the Rav of the Chabadic community of Safed and Rav of the Tzemach Tzeddek Synagogue of the town.  Due to financial difficulties, in 1922, Rabbi Horowitz was forced to leave to Canada, where he served for over thirty years as the head of the rabbis of Winnipeg and the Chief Rabbi of Western Canada.  Authored important books including Yavo Shiloh, Pardes HaAretz and Eden Zion. In 1953, he returned to Israel. His son is the famed Chassid Rabbi Shmuel Horowirtz - an important Breslov Rav and Mashpi'a.
