Likkutei Amarim Tanya - Vilna, 1930 \ Midrash Rivash Tov - Chassidut, First Edition Edelin, 1927 - Sefer Hatanya, facsimile of the Vilna 1900 edition published by the Chevrat Tomchei Temimim DeLubavitch - Vilna, 1930. See Michtav Hamadpisim, Mondshine Sefer Hatanya p. 221. Originally, two title pages - in this copy, the first one is missing. 163 leaves.  Bound with: Sefer Midrash Rivash Tov ”Mamrei Drushim Remazim Sichot by Rabbeinu Yisrael Ba’al Shem Tov”, divided into two sections, with a separate title page for Section II. First ediiton published by Yehuda, known as Leib Avraham first edition Kecskemét \ Edelin 1927. Enthusiastic approbations by leading contemporary Chassidic rabbis, the Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz, Rabbi Shalom Eliezer of Ratzfert, and more. Two title pages - one of them color, for Section I and an additional title page for Section II. [1], 56; 56 leaves. With one leaf of the list of pre-subscribers from HUngary at the end of Section I.  Bound together in a single volume with an old binfing with blemishes and taping to spine. Some moth perforations, stains and other minor blemishes. Several detached leaves and several partly detached sheets. Good overall condition.  On the flyleaf and title page, signatures and stamps of the Gaon Chassid Rabbi Shmuel Alexander Unsdorfer , Chassidic Rav of several London communities, Montreal and Petach Tikvah. The in-law of the Admor of Sanz Shlita. Visited the Rebbe several times and even spoke in several Chabad congresses.  Interesting! The Rebbe's instruction to the owner of this copy about the study of the Tanya In 1939, when Rabbi Shmuel Alexander studied at the Manchester Yeshiva under Rabbi Moshe Yitzchak Segal, he studied Chassidut with several Temimim of the Yeshiva. In a letter to the Admor the Rayatz, they asked which Chassidic book to study. The Rebbe responded in a letter (His Igrot Kodesh, Igeret IV1996) that half a chapter of Tanya shoudl be studied dialy and a whole chapter on Sabbath: ”בדבר שאלתכם בענין סדר לימוד החסידות נכון אשר בכל יום תלמדו כחצי פרק תניא וכשעה לימוד איזה מאמר מהמאמרים הנדפסים בהקונטרסים וביום הש”ק ללמוד פרק שלם בתניא , וכשתי שעות בלימוד מאמר בספר לקוטי תורה...”
