The book is considered a Sefer Yesod in the Chabad Chassidut and the Rebbe used to encourage studying the Ma'amarei HaParasha every week calling the book ”Torah Bichtav (written Torah) of Chassidut”. First edition . Kopust, 1837. Originally: [1], 167, [1] leaves. In this copy, the title pages are missing as well as leaves 1-2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 166, 167 and the last leaf with the table of errors.  Moth perforations and damage, Stains. Several leaves with tears and taping, some of them affecting the text. Old, worn binding, Good-fair overall condition.
