Section I, Sha'ar HaEmunah, in which the Mitteler Admor explains that faith is the root and foundation of all Mitzvot, leading to Torah, Tefillah, Tezdakah and Avodat Hatshuvah. This section is based on Mamrei Chassidut by the Admor Hazaken elucidating the issues of Passover, eating Matzah and the parting of the Red Sea.  Second edition, Lemberg, 1860. Originally: [1], 69, 80-106, 97-107 leaves. In this copy, the title page is missing as well as leaves 1-4, 6-7. Stains and moth perforations. Some tears, some of them slightly affecting the text of several leaves. Old binding, worn and detached. Good-fair overall condition. Ownership stamps and varied notations.
