Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Chassid Rabbi Yitzchak Hacohen Hendel Av Beit Din and Rav of the Chabad Community of Montreal - Adar B 1951 - Letter on the official stationery of ”Harav Yitzchak Hacohen Hendel, Beit HaMidrash Agudat Chassidei Chabad” of Montreal Canada, from Adar B 1951, addressed to the famed Chassid Rabbi Yeshaya Halevi Horowitz, the Rav of the Chabad community of Safed and Chief Rabbi of Western Canada, about the Kashruth of oil that is produced in the area of residence of Rabbi Horowitz in Canada.  [1] leaf, written on one side. Approx. 28X21 cm. Filing holes and fold lines. Tear with taping to the upper part. Good overall condiiton.   *** The Gaon Chassid Rabbi Yitzchak Hacohen Hendel (1917-2007) Rav and Av Beit Din of the Chabad Community of Montreal and one of the founders of the Yeshivat Tomchei Temimim of Montreal. Was appomited by the Rebbe as the ”Baal Habayit” [landlord] of Canada as part of the Chassidic UN.
