Letter with a Shanah Tovah Greeting by Rabbi Shemaryahu Gurarie (the Rashag) the Admor the Rayatz' Son-in-Law - Elul 1952 - Typewritten letter on the official stationery of Rabbi Shemaryahu Gurarie, the Admor the Rayatz' son-in-law, when he was the chairman of the executive committee of the center of the Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch Yeshivas, from Elul 22, 1952. The letter is addressed to the famed Chassid Rabbi Yeshaya Halevi Horowitz, the Rav of the Chabad community of Safed and Chief Rabbi of Western Canada. The Rashag blesses the addressee with a good and sweet year, materially and spiritually, and informs that a Chabad Chassid was sent to raise funds for the center of the Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch Yeshivas. The Rashag asks for Rabbi Horowitz' help with the fundraising campaign.  [1] leaf, approx. 28X22 cm. Fold lines and minor stains. Good overall condiiton.
