Letter with a Shanah Tovah Greeting by Rabbi Shemaryahu Gurarie (the Rashag) the Admor the Rayatz' Son-in-Law - Elul 1948 - Typewritten letter on the official stationery of the Tomchei Temimim Yeshivas, signed by Rabbi Shemaryahu Gurarie (the Rashag) the Admor the Rayatz' son-in-law, from Elul 1948. The letter is addressed to the famed Chassid Rabbi Yeshaya Halevi Horowitz, the Rav of the Chabad community of Safed and Chief Rabbi of Western Canada.  The Rashag blesses the addressee with a good and sweet year, materially and spiritually, and informs that a Chabad Chassid was sent to raise funds for the center of the Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch Yeshivas. The Rashag asks for Rabbi Horowitz' help with the fundraising campaign.  [1] leaf, approx. 28X22 cm. Some moth perforations. Fold lines and minor stains. Good overall condiiton.
