Rare Item of Kedushah! The Fork that was Used by the Admor Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson of Lubavitch - the Rayatz - ”קדושת המקום והכלים כו' של הצדיק היא באותו האופן כהזמן שהצדיק השתמש בהם בפועל, נשמה בגוף” [The sanctity of the place and the items etc. of the Tzaddik remains in the exact same manner as the time when the Tzaddik actually used them, as a soul in a body]. (The Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Lubavitch, Likutei Sichot 32, pp. 19-27). The personal and royal fork of the set of tableware that was constantly set on the table of the Admor Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson of Lubavitch - the Rayatz, the sixth Admor of Chabad, the in-law and leading Rav of the Admor Rabbi menachem Mendel of Lubavitch.  The fork was given by the pious Rebbetzin Mrs. Nechamah Dinah Schneerson, the Rayatz' wife, to the late Rabbi Avaraham Paris - one of the leading Mafitzei Mayanot Hachassidut in the USA and the Rebbe the Rayatz' special Shali'ach to Eretz Yisrael, as the representative od the Merkaz LeInyanei Chniuch. Enclosed is confirmation signed by Rabbi Shneur Zalman Halevi Levin - the son-in-law of the famed Chassid Rabbi Avraham Paris. Artifacts of Tzaddikim have been known as being of a sepcial Kedushah and Segulah. Ancient books explain the virtue of these artifacts, as written by the Lubavitcher Rebbe: ”קדושת המקום והכלים כו' של הצדיק היא באותו האופן כהזמן שהצדיק השתמש בהם בפועל, נשמה בגוף” [The sanctity of the place and the items etc. of the Tzaddik remains in the exact same manner as the time when the Tzaddik actually used them, as a soul in a body]. This sacred item, however, far surpasses other holy artifacts, as it is the most personal item imaginable - there is no other object like it whose primary use involves being brought inside the holy body of the Tzaddik! Furthermore, as an object used by the Rebbe the Rayatz himself during the service of eating, which among Tzaddikei Hadorot is not merely a physical act, but an integral part of the Avodat Kodesh and Tikkun HaOlamot, as explained extensively in Chassidic literature. The Sages have already likened a person's table to the Altar: ”He began with the Altar and concluded with the table... As long as the Temple stood, the Altar atoned for Israel, but now a person's table atones for him” (Berachot 55a). This is especially so as written in Chassidic books regarding the immense loftiness of the service of eating performed by the Tzaddikei Hadorot, and Tikkunim they achieved through it in all the worlds. The royally designed fork is made of silver-plated steel. Its length is approx. 16 cm.  Good condiiton. Slight blackening of the silver plating.  *** The Admor Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson of Lubavitch - the Rayatz [1880-1950] the sixth Rebbe of Chabad and founder of the Tomchei Temimim Yeshuvas alongside his father the Admor the Rashab. In 1920, he became the Chabad Admor, succeeding his father. As a result of his activities to spread Judaism, he was arrested several times by the Communist regime, but he was undeterred and continued with self-sacrifice. In 1940, he immigrated to Brooklyn; shortly thereafter, he purchased the famous 770 building, where he resided during his final years. Over time, the location became the global headquarters of Chabad Chassidut. After his passing, his son-in-law and disciple, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, was appointed as the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Yet even after his passing, his son-in-law, the Rebbe, remained as devoted to his holy father-in-law as he had been during his lifetime. Whenever a difficult matter was mentioned to him, he would reply, ”I will mention it at the Tziyun” - meaning that he would bring about the necessary salvation when presenting the request at the Tziyun of his father-in-law, the Rayatz.
