Shanah Tovah Blessing from Kollel Chabad Signed by the Chassid Rabbi Azriel Zelig Slonim to Rabbi Yeshaya Horowitz Elul 1954 - Letter on the official stationery of Kollel Chabad in Israel/ From Elul 10, 1954. Addressed to the addressed to the famed Chassid Rabbi Yeshaya Halevi Horowitz, the Rav of the Chabad community of Safed and Chief Rabbi of Western Canada The letter deals with some matter, apparently related to the Kollel. At its end, the famed Chassid Rabbi Azriel Zelig Slonim writes a blessing for the New Year: ”ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה, ושנת גאולה וישועה”. 22X28 cm. Fold lines and stains.  Alongside the stamp of the Kollel, the signature of Rabbi Azriel Zelig Slonim (1897-1972) the son of Rabbi Zeev Dov of Hebron. Was the confidante of the Rebbe Rayatz and of the Rebbe and a leading activist of Chabad in Israel. Was one of the founders of Shikkun Chabad of Jerusalem.
