Historical Edition of the Segulah Book Noam Elimelech by Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk Published by the Students of Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin - She'erit Hapletah Shanghai, 1946 - Sefer Noam Elimelech by Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk, a Chassidic Sefer Yesod and one of the most revered Sifrei Segulah of all generations . She'erit Hapletah edition published by the students of Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin in Shanghai, China, 1946.  This is one of the historical and most touching edition of the Noam Elimelech - the first edition that was published after the detsruction of European Jewry and the Holocaust by the surviving students of Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin who had escaped to Shanghai . This edition was published a year before the book was printed in a DP camp in Germany (Fernwald, 1947) and it symobolizes the rise of the world of Torah and Chassidut from the ashes.  This edition contains the Likutei Shoshanah, approbations, the Tzetil Katan and Hanhagot HaAdam. Printed at its end is the letter by Rabbi Feivish of Zbaraż, a disciple of the Maggid of Mezeritch. This edition is a facsimile of the Munkatch 1940 edition.  It is appropriate to cite from the letter by the Gaon Rabbi Shimaleh Zelichover, the Mashgiach of Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin , who wrote several years ear;ier [Nissan 1934] abput the Segulah of the book Noam Elimelech:  ”והמשכילים יבינו, שספר הקדוש נועם אלימלך ממתיק הדינים עד היום מן הכלל ישראל…”. 227, [1] pp. 25.5 cm.  Very good condition.
