The Rambam of Rabbi Shmuel Zvi Weiss Rosh Av Beit Din of Munkatch Father of the Admor the Imrei Yosef of Spinka with His Handwritten Signature - Mishneh Torah, Hayad Hachazakah by Rabbeinu Moshe bar Maimon [the Rambam], with Hasagot HaRavad and a new elucidation by Rabbi Shlomo the son of the late Rabbi Chanoch Mibeit Levi. Section I Volume II - on SEder Zemanim. Leipzig, 1863. 240 leaves. Some moth perforations. Stains and dampness stains. Old fabric-covered half-leather binding with minor blemishes. Good overall condition.  On the top of the title page, an important signature: ”לה”ו הק' שמואל צבי ווייס” - referring to Rabbi Shmuel Zvi Weiss Rosh Av Beis Din of Munkatch, the father of the Admor the Imrei Yosef of Spinka (see below). Inside the book there is a leaf handwritten by the Admor's grandson Rabbi Alter Eliezer Kahana of Spinka-Ziditchov who writes that this is the signature of his great-grandfather Rabbi Zvi, the father of the Imrei Yosef, and the date: Sivan 11, 1975.  * * * Rabbi Shmuel Zvi Weiss of Munkatch (? – 1879) succeeded his father as Rosh Av Beit Din of Munkatch after his father immigrated to Eretz Yisrael. He was the disicple of the Sar Shalom of Belz, Rabbi Yehuda Zvi of Razla, and Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Zidichov, the Bnei Yissachar. At his wedding the Bnei Yissachar was the Mesader Kiddushin. Rabbi Shmuel edited the book Da’at Kedoshim of his Rav, RabbiYehuda Zvi of Razla. His brother, Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Svaliva wrote in his book Beit Yitzchak that Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Zidichov put his hands on his brother's head and gave him the power of being a wonder-worker. Throughout his time in Munkatch, Chassidim gathered around him.
