Section III on Sefer Vayikra - Munkatch, 1886. Stefansky Chassidut 298. [4], 168 leaves. 25 cm. Good condiiton. Marks of usage. Dry paper with small tears along the edges of the leaves. Restored tears to several leaves - some of them slightly affecting the text. Stains and other minor blemishes. Some moth perforations. Fine new binding.  Segulah book This sacred book was known as a book of Segulah and safekeeping, as written by the author's leading disciple, the Admor Rabbi Yosef Meir of Spinka, in the foreword to Sefer Vayikra, which he had published:  ”...מובטחני בכוחו הקדוש שכל מי שיקנה הספר הקדוש של מרן הקדוש בוודאי זכותו יגן עליו בזה ובבא ויהיה לו ”לשמירה מעולה” [ההדגשה במקור!] ולהניח ברכה בתוך ביתו...” [I am assured by his sacred power that whoever purchases the book of Maran will surely be protected by his merit in this world and in the Next, and it will serve as an exceptional safegkeeping [original emphasisl!] and bring blessing into his home...].  Pedigreed and Sacred copy  The personal copy of the Gaon Rabbi Naftali Weissblum of Balchov , a direct descendant of Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhnesk, author of the Noam Elimelech. Rabbi Naftali was the son of Rabbi Yisrael Yosef, the son of Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak, the son of Rabbi Naftali of Lizhensk, the son of Rabbi Elazar - the son of the Noam Elimelech. Was known as a Tzaddik and wonder-worker whom many came to for blessing and salvation, especially in matters of health. Appearing twice in the center of the title page and the last leaf of the book are is handwritten signaturtes: ”נפתלי וויסבלום חפ”ק באלחוב”. Appearing on the leaf following the title page is his personal stamp, in Hebrew and a foreign language: ”נפתלי ווייסבלאם בהרי”י ז”ל, נכד להה”צ מליזענסק ומזידיטשוב זצלה”ה”. *** The Admor Rabbi Naftali Weissblum of Balchov (1862-1918) a foremost Tzaddik of Galicia and wonder-worker whom many came to for advice, blessing and salvation. Was especially known for his power to help in medicinal matters and helped patients whom physicians gave up on! Many of his Chassidim merited seeing wonders due to his prayers and blessings.  He was a direct descendant of Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk author of the Noam Elimelechand a descendant of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Ziditchov author of the Ateret Zvi.  The author Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Eichenstein of Ziditchov (1805-1873) one of the leading Admorim and Mekubalim of his generation. The second Admor of Ziditchov. Due to the fact that many Admorim, including the Yitav Lev of Sighet, the Divrei Yechezkel of Shinova, the Heichal Heberachah of Komarno, the Imrei Yosef of Spinka and many more, were his disciples, Ziditchov customs were adopted by additional Chassidic Chatzeirot. In addiiton, Nigunim whose source is the Ziditchov Chassidut survived in the Chassidut of Belz and Munkatch.
