Apparently the Only Copy in the World - Unicum! Tikkunei Yesharim Haggadah shel Pesach and Tikkun Leil Shavu'ot - the Press of the Chassid Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Mardush - Poritzk, 1805 - Tikkunei Yesharim, a thick book containing the Haggadah shel Pesach, Tikkun Leil Shavu'ot and Tikkun Leil Hoshana Rabba - printed at the Press of the Rav of Poritzk, the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Mardush author of Be'ur Maharam Schiff. Engraved ullustration of lions on the title page. Poritzk, 1805.  ”And we have added Nevi'im and Ketuvim and Mishnayot and Zohar and Idra and Taryag Mitzvot and Mishneh Torah, all in large fonts with Nikud and Te'amim”.  This is an extremely rare book, apparently the only copy in the world. The book was never auctioned; it is not in the National Library nor in other listed libraries. In the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book it is written: ”we have not seen this book”.  The book was printed at the Press of the famed Rav of Poritzk, the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Mardush about whom the Chozeh of Lublin said that the light of his Torah shines in all worlds. Rabbi Mordechai Mardush refused to earn his living by being a Rav and therefore, owned a printery. Among others, he printed his famed elucidation on the Maharam Schiff and his other books, which were approbated by leading Chassidic rabbis including Rabbi levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, the Maggid of Kozhnitz and more.  This is the only Haggadah that was printed in his printery and one of the few books known to have been printed by him.  Yaari 339; Otzar Hahaggadot 489.  [150] leaves. 19 cm. New leather binding.  Fair-good condition. Stamps and signatures. Aging stains. Moth burrows and perforations, some of them restored. Old paper completion to the edge of leaf [34] with a signature on it. Stains and other minor blemishes.
