Segulah Book - Fine Copy! Set of Imrei Yosef Spinka on the Moadim - First Edition Woronów, 1929-1931 - ”שיתברכו מאלקי השמים בשנות חיים טובים וארוכים ונחת מזרעם, ושפע ברכה פרנסה והצלחה עד הגאולה בב”א”   (p. 2) Sefer Imrei Yosef - Chassidut based on the Ari's Kabbalah by the Admor and Mekubal Rabbi Yosef Meir Weiss of Spinka, the first Admor and founder of the Spinka Chassidut who was known as the Imrei Yosef after this book/ Th etwo sections on the Moadim, bound together with separate title pages for each section. Woronów, 1929-1931. First edition. Title pages with red lettering.  This is a Chassidic Sefer Yesod, based mostly on the Ari's Kabbalah. It contains Kabbalistic issues, Yichudei Shemot and Sefirot Elyonot.  Added to the book's special virtue is the blessing of the author's son and successor, Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Spinka author of the Chakal Yitzchak, who published the book, writing in his foreword a special blessing to the purchasers of the book:  ”ויה”ר שזכות מרן אאמו”ר זצוק”ל זי”ע ועכי”א יגן על כל הקונים את ספרו... שיתברכו בכל הברכות הכתובים בתוה”ק... הק' יצחק אייזיק”. In his foreword to Section II, the Chakal Yitzchak adds that the book will nring protection and success to those who purcahse it:  ”להביא ברכה לאהליכם והספר הקדוש הזה יהיה לשמירה ולהצלחה בתוך בתיכם, וזכות כ”ק מרן אאמו”ר זצוקללה”ה יגן עליכם ותתברכו בכתיבה וחתימה טובה שנת גאולה וישועה”. This combination - the blessing of the Chakal Yitzchak to the purchasers of the book and the book being based on the Torah of the Ari - is what earned the Imrei Yosef its special status as a most sought-after Segulah book.  [4], 115, [2]; 97 leaves. 27 cm.  Fine copy in very good condiiton. Some aging stains and minor blemishes.  *** The Admor Rabbi Yosef Meir Weiss of Spinka, the Imrei Yosef (1838-1909), author of the Imrei Yosef and founder of the Spinka Chassidur. Was a  leading Admor, Mekubal and wonder-worker in his generation. The Imrei Yosef was a leading disciple of the Maharam Esh and Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Eisenstein of Ziditchov, from whom he received the principles of Chassidut and Kabbalah. After the passing of his rav of Ziditchov, he became close to the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. He lived in Spinka, where he served as Admor since ca. 1870. His major book, the Imrei Yosef on Torah and Moadim, was printed after he passed away and is considered a Segulah book. Alongside his Torah and Kabbalah greatness, the Imrei Yosef was known as a Tzaddik and wonder-worker.
