Letter with a Blessing for the New Year - by the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Levin Av Beit Din of Pardes Chanah and the Son of the Jerusalem Tzadik Rabbi Aryeh Levin - Letter with a blessing for the New Year - handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Levin Av Beit Din of Pardes Chanah and author of Cheil Hamikdash - addressed to the manager sof the Hebron Yeshiva with separate reference to the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yechezkel Sarna - Jersey City, 1963.  In his letter, Rabbeinu who was one of the greatest supporters of the Hebron Yeshiva, addresses varied issues pertaining to the yeshiva. At the end of the letter, Rabbi Levin personally addresses the Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Yechezkel Sarna, and greets him for the New Year: ” ד”ש באה”ר (דורש שלומו באהבה רבה) וברכת גמר חתימה טובה למע”כ הג' ר' יחזקאל סרנא שליט”א ולכל משפחתו - ולכל החוסים בצלו”. Handwritten by Rabbi Levin and signed twice by him.  *** The Gaon Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Levin (1911-1993) the son of the Jerusalem Tzadik Rabbi Aryeh Levin, the Father of the Prisoners. Served as Av Beit Din of many towns in Israel and abroad including Seattle, Jersey City and eventually Pardes Chanah . Studied in the Etz Chaim Yeshiva of Jerusalem and was a Chavruta of the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach. Authored the book Cheil Hamikdash and Cheil Hamelech.
