“Labor in the USSR is a matter of honor, glory, valor and heroism” (I.V. Stalin). The theme of the joyful, happy hard worker is a major theme in the art of Soviet realism. Looking at various works of the time, we see peasant "heroes" doing their hard work with a smile, but beating all labor indicators.

The lithograph "Village concert" embodies the theme of rest after a hard day's work. Here girls in traditional Russian sarafans perform a dance to the playing of the harmonica, round dance, the audience, who are resting and enjoying the spectacle.

The engraving is interesting from a historical point of view. It depicts the everyday life of a Soviet man at that time!

Engraver: Piskaryova Аnna Nikolaevna (1934-1988) is an artist, graphic artist, member of the Association of Artists of the USSR, member of Мoscow subdivision of the Association of Artists since 1970. А.N. Piskaryova graduated from Surikov Moscow Secondary School of Art. Studied under М.Мatorin, Yu.Reyner, М.Dobrov.

Worked in different engraving techniques, including etching and linoleum engraving in 1970s.

石印图画“农村音乐会”体现出来工作辛苦的一天以后休息的主题。

这里有穿俄罗斯传统的裙子姑娘在跳舞，俄罗斯手风琴，轮舞，观众在休息和一饱眼福。

从历史观点看这版画很有意思。版画反映苏联人的生活习惯！
