The pistols feature engraved metalwork and carved wooden grips with decorative motifs. One pistol bears the signature “Williams,” while the other appears inscribed “Chance & Homer”. The set is likely of European manufacture dating from the 18th or early 19th century, probably intended as travelling or pocket pistols.
