The characteristic spherical shape with a double convex lens allows for an enlarged view of the dial, which features a polychrome illustration of a steam locomotive at its center and a ring of Arabic numerals. The clock is housed on an elegant vintage silver-plated metal watch holder, finely pierced with Art Nouveau volute motifs and resting on scroll feet.
