Bronze ”Montgolfière” Suspension Chandelier – Neoclassical Style, approx. 30 cm diameter - Refined suspension chandelier, attributable to the ”hot air balloon” type, made of burnished bronze with rich decorative elements in a Neoclassical taste. The object stands out for its harmonious structure that evokes the atmosphere of late 19th-century noble residences. Structure: The central circular body is adorned with a series of festooned bronze garlands that elegantly fall along the perimeter, connected by bow or palmette motifs. Stem: The vertical support is characterized by turned and fluted elements that culminate in a coordinated upper rosette for ceiling attachment. Diffuser: The lower part is closed by a cup of frosted or opalescent glass, designed to diffuse light softly and uniformly, concealing the light source. Material: Worked bronze and glass. Style: Neoclassical / Louis XVI. Condition: Very good; the metal structure has a very charming natural dark patina. The electrical system appears to have been updated for modern use.
