Liberty ”Bowl” Suspension Chandelier in Frosted Glass and Polychrome Enamels - Elegant bowl-shaped suspension chandelier, a significant example of the Liberty (Art Nouveau) style of the first half of the 20th century. The diffuser is made of frosted or ”iced” glass, a technique that gives the surface a granular, semi-transparent texture, ideal for soft light diffusion. The decoration, executed with great mastery, features intertwining red and blue rose branches with thorny stems and green leaves, made using the relief enamel technique. The mounting consists of three original chains in brass-plated metal with shaped links. circa 1920 34 cm
