Large 12-Light Chandelier in Murano Glass and Crystal – Maria Theresa Style - Majestic suspension chandelier of high craftsmanship, inspired by the sumptuous Muranese and Central European tradition of the 18th century. The work stands out for the complexity of its structure and the richness of its glass components, which create a play of reflections and transparencies of extraordinary visual impact. Structure and Arms: The metal frame is entirely covered with transparent Murano glass plates. The 12 sinuous, double-scrolled arms terminate with candle holders made of celestial opaline glass, adding a delicate and distinctive chromatic note to the composition. Decorative Apparatus: The central body is adorned with a cascade of chains of faceted crystal octagons and numerous almond and teardrop pendants. The upper part (finial) features ”pastoral” elements from which further crystals hang, accentuating the vertical thrust of the object.
