Sideboard with Mirrored Riser in Renaissance Style – Late 19th Century - Elegant two-part cabinet made of finely carved walnut wood, attributable to the eclectic craftsmanship of the late 19th century. The Riser: Characterized by a central rectangular mirror, framed by a pair of fluted twisted columns supporting a projecting cornice. The upper frieze features a refined carving with a central shell motif and symmetrical foliate scrolls. The Top: A shaped and polished grey-veined white marble top, lending chromatic stability and prestige to the cabinet. The Lower Body: Base with two paneled doors, adorned with rich relief carvings featuring floral motifs and ”C” scrolls. A spacious drawer below the top completes the structure, enhanced by original patinated bronze keyholes and handles. The sides are marked by twisted half-columns echoing the riser's design. Supports: The cabinet rests on four flattened bun feet, typical of classical cabinet-making tradition. Technical Sheet Era: Late 19th century (Historicism/Eclecticism).
