Elegant 'Bombe' Walnut Trumeau Display Cabinet – Dutch Baroque Style - A double-featured trumeau cabinet consisting of a chest of drawers base and a display cabinet top. Base: Characterized by a 'bombe' (curved) line on the front and sides, typical of Northern European cabinet-making tradition. It features three large shaped drawers with escutcheons and knob handles in wood or metal. Top: Large single-door display cabinet with curvilinear profiles. The glass is embellished with elegant wooden strips creating a diamond geometric pattern in the central part. The interior is lined with green fabric, ideal for highlighting collections of porcelain or art objects. Cresting: The cabinet is crowned by a richly carved cresting with foliage motifs and rococo volutes, which gives impetus and importance to the structure. Supports: Rests on four finely carved cabriole legs with acanthus leaf motifs. Period: High-quality production from the mid-20th century, inspired by classic 18th-century models. Condition: The item is in excellent general condition; the spirit polish enhances the grain and flame pattern of the walnut wood.
