Active during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Dabir was renowned for producing some of the finest workshop rugs of the Qajar and early Pahlavi eras, many of which were commissioned for royalty, aristocrats, and international exhibitions.Dabir's carpets are admired for their exquisite balance of color, precision of design, and luxurious materials. He was known for working with fine kork (baby lamb) wool, and occasionally silk, to create highly detailed medallion-and-corner designs, floral arabesques, and refined curvilinear compositions.
