The central field features a grid of lotus-inspired medallions ? sacred symbols of purity and renewal ? surrounded by flowing vines, cloud bands, and stylized leaves that create a soft, painterly rhythm. A wide border of floral medallions, peonies, and deep midnight blue and rich coral accents ties the composition to the Chinese imperial tradition, while the wool pile's silk-like sheen adds luminous depth throughout. The result is an elegantly blended and serene decorative achievement. Condition: Lot # 261 is in very good condition. The pile is full and even with no visible signs of wear or tear. one side needs partial hand securing. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean.
