Known as the ”Iron Rugs of Persia, ” Bidjar weavings are distinguished by their exceptionally dense weave, confident design language, and richly saturated palettes ? qualities that have made them perennial favorites among collectors and decorators across generations. Condition: Lot #341 is in fair to good condition. The pile is low and mostly even, with scattered areas of more pronounced wear. Both ends have been masterfully rewoven approximately 2 inches across the full width and are hand-secured. The sides have also been rewoven approximately 2 inches along the full length and are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
