The ivory field is filled with small repeating rosettes, leafy arabesques, and dark accent details, creating a disciplined rhythm from top to bottom. Around it, a rich red border carries larger floral cartouches and scrolling vines, giving the smaller field pattern a stronger architectural frame. The rug feels formal but not heavy, with the contrast between the pale center and saturated border doing much of the visual work.
