Letter from Rabbi Yosef Asher Halevy Pollack, Av Beis Din of Verpelét, 1934. - Handwritten and signed letter of recommendation for his student, Binyamin Ephraim Mendel of Gyongos. The letter ends with a request from the Rabbi of Jerusalem, to pray for him and his wife, the Rabbetzin Slava bas Esther, that they be blessed with children. Rabbi Yosef Asher Halevy Pollack (1898-1944) was the son of Rabbi Avraham, the Av Beis Din of Uhely and was a student of the Daat Sofer and the son-in-law of Rabbi Yehuda Altman of Mezőcsát.
