Letter from Rebbetzin Reizil Hager, wife of Admor Reb Mechel of Horodenka, and daughter of Reb Chaim Hager of Antiniya. Czernovitz 1937. A letter she sent to a friend Rechel Feldman [Ganz] from Montevideo, Uruguay. In her letter she blesses on behalf of her husband ”Harav Hatzaddik Shlita”, with health and livelihood, and adds her own blessings as well. Rabbi Mechel Hager of Horodenka (1872-1942) was the son of Reb Boruch Hager of Vizhnitz, and son in law of his brother Reb Chaim Hager from Antiniya. He was Rebbe in Horedenka. Moved to Vienna, then Czernovitz. After Succot 1942 he was deported to Transnistria where he perished the same day as his son Reb Boruch.
