Letter from Rabbi Shmuel Austerlitz from Tab, Hungary. To the Maharam Schick. 1842. The letter is a recommendation for the carrier of the letter. the letter is addressed to hius Rabbi the Mahram Schick and therefore he adds lengthy Torah novella, and regards as well to Rabbi Zalman Spitzer who at the time was a talmid of the Maharam Schick and later on was the son-in-law of the Chasam Sofer. Rabbi Shmuel Austerlitz from Tab, Hungary, is refereed by his descendants as ”a great Holy man, and a famous Tzaddik”. From his descendants are known: Rabbi Avraham Paper dayan of Tab, and Rabbi Leib Kritzler from Bonyhad.
