Stone tools (lithic tools) from the Neolithic period, from the 5th to 4th millennium BC, identified with the ”Michelsberg” culture - Flint tool Michelsberg culture (found in Sapien, Mons, Belgium). Neolithic period, ca. 4500-3500 BC. Height 7 cm Provenance: Found in 1979 in Camp-a-Caillou, near Sapien (Mons), Belgium. Subsequently owned by a private museum in Amersfoort, Netherlands. Acquired from this museum by the Dutch antiques dealer W. Stormbroek. Acquired as a group when the museum closed in 2010. Since then in the inventory of the Galerie Alta Römer, Germany.
