The watch is set with 52 round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately a total of .47 carats The diamonds are colorless and very slightly included. According to the family the watch was given to the family by Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai and Prime Minister of UAE.
