Extra Fine Antique Illinois Pocket Watch ”Bunn Special” - Extra Fine Antique Illinois Pocket Watch ”Bunn Special” 21 jewel railroad grad ”Bunn Special” with a pristine heavy gothic dial. Housed in Muhr gold filled case ca. 1900. Triple-sunk porcelain dial. This Illinois ”Bunn Special” was the top of the line Railroad Pocket Watch of the day and manufactured to the highest of standards. This is a size 18 measuring 2 1/4 in. in diameter; the classic lever set Railroad Grade Pocket Watch of the day. This model Bunn was manufactured from 1893 through 1923, a very popular movement. This Illinois ”Bunn Special” is referred to as a full plate movement and is in pristine condition without reckless jewelers tool marks or corrosion. This fine Bunn is face with a mint porcelain dial highlighted with the rare and highly desired Heavy Gothic motif. Movement is beautifully machined and engraved.
