Lewis, Boston MDCCCXXII” and then later engraved in 1882, ”Nathaniel Greene Herreshoff from his Mother, March 18th 1882”. Together with a handled coin silver cup, engraved, ”John”, by Palmers and Bachelders, 19th C. Approx. 9 t.o. Provenance: Descended through the Herreshoff Family line 4 in. (10.2 cm.)
