While he concentrated on sculpture after he graduated, the artist Marino Marini also produced a significant number of paintings and graphic art pieces over the course of his career.Marini’s talent is credited with breathing new life into the pre-WWII Italian sculpting scene. Drawing on Renaissance and ancient Etruscan styles and techniques, Marino Marini's sculptures began making an impact in the late 1920s.
