Vanderbilt, Greenwich, CT; Sotheby's, New York, January 22, 2006, sale NO8158, lot 429; Property from the Collection of William and Meryl Russell, New Jersey 60 x 39 x 19 1/4 in. (152.4 x 99.1 x 48.9 cm.) Condition: Shrinkage cracks, scratches, and wear to top consistent with age and use. Brasses replaced. Shrinkage cracks to case sides. Light crazing/alligatoring to surface. Minor bruising, chips, wear, and repairs to moldings. Chips, patches, and repairs to drawer lips consistent with age and use. Some knee returns replaced. Sturdy.
